Azararch considered the new situation, all the while trying to regain his poise. From what he saw, he was correct in thinking that Caro did indeed possess some knowledge of Imperial technology. He still had little idea on the capabilities of the other three. It would be wise to keep an eye on mr. Hox, considering that as it seemed, were a part of the same 'subgroup'.
For the time being, Geiss decided to wait until somebody comes up with an idea for the codenames proper, while keeping hold of a question or two regarding their communications and possible assets in the area of operations.

The local populace of this surface slum town consisted of the dregs of the sorriest sort. Whether because of ignorance or a fear of outsiders the locals Hox had encountered had remained tight lipped, much to his barely concealed annoyance. The vehicle depot on the other hand had spoken loud and clear, most of the options were ramshackle, but perhaps the Enginseer, or whatever Caro really was since he clearly knew some of the machine gods techno-rites, could coax more life into them. Hox headed back to the group to share what he'd learned and see if anyone had found out where Marble Crest was.
"So we've got some options transport wise, a bike an' trailer, a battered looking truck and a buggy in better repair, but I don't know how many will fit in it. Couldn't find anyone who knew how to get to Crest though. Might take me more time. Anyone sorted out a place to wait out the night? However bloody long that'll be."
Forbidden Lore: Smugglers and Cartels, Known, Int 31 to see if Hox knows or has seen/heard traces of the Edge Syndicate in this rough approximation of a spaceport, and thus a wretched hive of scum and villainy!

(Known, SL Underworld, Int 48) or (Known, SL Imperium, Int 48) or (any other suitable CL or SL, because I am a bit lost which to choose. every CL and SL is known) research info about Marble Crest, around ,Caro began during Hox departure.
Then next. Well, this is it. Under Alias of a "Barber", Caro began searching for dregs to hire by selling his profession - chirurgeon - as a debt or a favor. (Known FL Mutants, int 48, to recognize mutants)
After Caro returned just at time to hear sad news from Hox about the little choice of transport. Really? this is forsaken world. Sculptures? oh, yes, he noticed them. But technology is worth more. At least for him. The true beauty is the strength of flesh and tech symbiosis. Not sculptures. Anyway, Caro analyzed their possibilities with available transport (Known, CL Tech, Int 48, or Untrained Logic, Int 48).

Caro's rolls: > There seem to be no Mutant Groups around to turn to > all three vehicle Options could Transport 5 People. But they are more or less comfortable and reliable > Marble Crest must be a really small Settlement, as you never heard of it

Nevertheless, the sad news were brought by Hox, he himself could not manage to find any mutants for hire. Is this a blessed world? Does sculpting prevents flesh corruptions? Interesting! Most interesting! Caro will point this about this world. What really saddened him, that no info about Marble Crest location could be found. This could not be true. He, who knows everything! Such failure! Caro was angry. At least he heard a really easy question: how many people could fit in each transport. "Honorable Hox, 5 passengers karry, each transport kan. Zough, komfort undt r-r-reliability are ze luxuries ve do nicht posses in each uff sacred machines." Caro explained. That treated his wound of self-respect, but just a little. He was still angry. Failure. But the only true failure would be if Caro would stop trying.
Remark: If I understand, using SL and provided there is place, you could study not only remember things. am i right?

Annabelle let Caro and Elias bicker over who would be her escort. That amused her, and she allowed a soft smile reflecting that amusement to flicker across h er features. Once Elias showed off the full extent of his intimidating figure though, it seemed Caro backed down. "Well then. I look forward to knowing my knight in shining armor better as this day progresses~" She teased. Geiss was distributing stun grenades and Caro appeared to possess a web grenade. That was a start for certain. She glanced at Elias. "Well, I suppose if we're looking for a little extra fire power, the taverns would be as good a place to start as any." She smiled at Hox. "Perhaps we can accompany you at least part of the way." It also seemed that they'd be travelling in 5-man transports. Hmmm. Perhaps they'd need an extra one for the additional manpower Annabelle was hoping to recruit. That would be a bridge to as they came to it. It was possible that she might even be able to find a group with their own transportation.

When Caro acted as desired, Elias nodded.
"Your excuses are accepted" he said. He turned to Anna and smiled. "Let's get some thugs to die for the Emperor's divine will"
He thanked Geiss with an appreciating nod and got ready to go.
The first step would be to find somewhere they could hire people that could make the job. Not super mercenaries that they couldn't afford nor stupid thugs that couldn't get the job done. You know, the kind of people that with some money and the right motivation could make into good assets. At the moment, at least.
Once in the tavern with the others, Elias Reigner would start questionning. Politely, offering drinks and participating in a totally different way than his new colleagues could have waited for from him. He would ask some questions about what's going on, who are the people not to cross, all that in the objective of getting the answers needed: who are the good people to recruit. (Inquiry +10 +31 fel; target 41).

Rolled 51 for 2 DoF.
You hear a lot of smalltalk, but it seems like most guys here are just workers that are responsibles for bringing goods to the landers and taking other goods from them to Vouxis' Hives.
20h to go until the meeting is planned.

Caro was sad and angry. He was not going to come in terms with failure. While other went to taverns, Caro receded and went where somebody knows their work - Adeptus administratum. Of course he had to check how the works is done there (SL Administratum or Bureucratics, Int 48) and only then Caro could pose as a medic "Barber" (Known, Deceive, using alternative characteristic Int 48 instead Fell, Provided Caro has proper medical equipment modifier) who could be, more importantly wanted to be, assigned to Marble Crest settlement, but he just did not knew how to get there. He would ask for a possibility to be transported there or at least a map.

Bureaucracy is the art of making the possible impossible. Caro well knew that. It seemed, administratum was quite happy that somebody would go to forgotten dreg settlement and provided him a map. Working as a "Faceless Adept" payed off. The success healed is honor to the full and with a grin under the mask he came back to the group. They looked unhappy. Aha!
"Blue faces, why?" innocently asked Caro, but really he was spitefully laughing in his precious brain. "Askingkt ze r-r-right qfestions takes as much skill as gifingkt ze r-r-right answers, zey say. Fear nicht, It iss about 200 miles souzz uff our location zrough ze vastelents & plains, ze Marble Krest iss " happily announced Caro.

Hox eyes the smug Caro, as if weighing him up for a moment before speaking "So, Keats, by my reckoning we're at least 3-4 hours away assuming we make good progress in one of those trucks, if anyone knows how to drive one. Did you get directions, a bearing or a chart we can use along wiv' that distance?"
Hox is careful about openly discussing their business "Sounds like hired help is out of the question for now, perhaps for the best. If we turned up with unexpected escorts the business deal wouldn't end well. Speaking of which... how are we intending to keep hold of our bosses item? Offer 'em a better deal on somethin' else?"
Awareness, Known, Per 36 to assess if they're being watched or followed and for anything unusual.

"The result of my adept abilities, here it is" and Caro took a map to show for others. "Though, driving is not of them" disappointingly muttered Caro. Yes. As a ad mechanicus it was shameful he had poor driving capabilities. Continued Caro " but at first, do we have a transport already, Spectre A, if it is suitable to call you that?" while gazing at Hox.
