"Chust about time... " muttered Caro while unfixing his burnt cable and putting to backpack. Then he lied down and eased up on the floor. He was very glad he had taken this memento. It brought him luck. Or maybe the Machine god blessed him? Anyway, Caro felt lucky. He had never liked dangerous confrontations and always goes where he could have some sort of advantage and he is sure to be safe. This trip was madness. His precious knowledge and life research would have gone in vain! Only Geiss managed to hold himself. Strong will and mind Geiss had, it seems. Caro is glad, Geiss is here. Trust. Though, he was still a psyker.
When exiting the lander, Caro check it in haste just to be sure if they weren't hit by anyone, but he did not notice anything. The Machine Spirit of servitor was poorly taken care of. It was a heresy for Caro's beliefs.
Caro really thought, they would have more time to prepare for the meeting. One day is too little!Too little darn time! Anyway, Caro suggested "Mein dears, ve schould split in two groups. Zat vould deny enemies ability to identify us. Neferzzeless, ein group kould find an accommodation undt anozzer vould kheck ze meetingkt place fur possible ambusch places, r-r-retreat kapabilities" and then deceitfully smirked "or efen hire some mooks to accompany our escape if zingkts go v-r-rong.? Annabelle, vould kertainty konfince anybody "

Annabelle had held her breath for almost the entirety of the harrowing, spiralling voyage, letting it out in a long breath as Caro and Geiss worked together to save the group's lives. "Remind to pay you boys back for that." She breathed, gratefully. She was on edge for the remainder of the flight into Port Davidus. Annabelle was relieved when they finally landed and her feet were on solid ground once again. Caro was already planning though. That was something to admire. How quickly he returned to task after something like that.He was proposing splitting the group. Annabelle pondered the thought for a moment, and then nodded. "Splitting our group has its advantages." She agreed. "And I can certainly see what I can do about rounding us up some extra muscle~" She sweetly intoned. Caro's quick recovery was having an effect on her as well, and setting her at ease. "But before that, it might be a good idea to think of a way to stay in touch. Or at least a place to meet, to exchange information."

The knight stayed immobile in his seat for the duration of the perilous spinning. He was a heavy man, not very fast nor agile, and if he had taken out of his seat, he would mainly have served as a projectile for the gravity to crush his friends. When the spinning stopped, he thanked the Emperor for guiding the hands of his agents in success.
"I hate atmospherical descent. These things never work well" he grumbled. "If we seperate, better to introduce our cover immediately. I'll walk with Anna to keep her safe, and we'll try to recruit the kind of people that won't bulk at jobs they will be given"

Caro did not like the idea. He wanted Anabelle for himself. Frown drew Caro's masked face. Then cynic voice slipped without an accent "I nice gesture, sire Elias, most would say. The looks of your statue would guide away potential fodder, like rabbits from mighty wolf. None the less, payment, we cannot provide nor do we have time to get it." With sudden change he grinned " My talent as a medic could sell better with a sweet tongue of Dear Annabelle. As for meeting place I suggest this settlement's main square or just there."

As the vessel was approaching the ground, Azararch was still shaking from the stress of the situation.
Breathing heavily, he asked those around him in a voice with a constantly changing modulation, returning to the use of language constructs he was more comfortable with: 'Have any of you brought grenades? It is likely that they will be, unfortunately, of use to everyone here'.

Annabelle flashed Geiss a charming little smirk at that comment, slipping out the krak grenade that the Rogue Trader had provided her with, from her belt. "A gift from our host." She stated, turning the explosive in her hand. Annabelle knew well the power of one of these weapons. A well place krak grenade could tear open up a tank.

As you look around in the small settlement, you realize that is is far From having a real hives Infrastrukturen.
There are a handful of Taverns, some Places to be hired for sleep, a small car Shop called "Rodneys Vehycles" and otherwise a lot of storage facilities for the goods to be shipped From Vouxis or the goods coming From other Planets, along with a Lot of workers and Trucks. Of course there are also security personell, watching over the trading goods.

'I have acquired 4 stun grenades. I suggest that one stays with me, and 3 go to other people in our group. Any further suggestions on how we divide them between us?'

Elias got up when Caro told him that his stature would likeley guide people away.
"Hear me clearly, flesh-meddler. Speak clearly or speak not, certainly don't use words you don't think with me. Your opinion of my capabilities I care not. Is that clear?"
When up on his feet, Elias Reigner was 1M90 tall, broad and muscular. If he spoke clearly without agressivity, it was clear that the next step would be quite different, as everyone can know, even lesser nobility from a feudal warrior culture was very honour-oriented. Reigner wouldn't tolerate any insult to him, especially not from someone that he doesn't know and that doesn't know him.
He turned around.
"Our priorities are to be equipped correctly for the moment the meeting will start, to have a working and coherent cover, and to have the ressources and support necessary to do what need to be done. The Inquisitor would like us to be able to get back the artefact we will exchange, this won't be easy if we don't have back-up"

That stand. Only law man can stand this intimidating. It was better not to anger law man. He knew and saw well the consequences of bad decisions made by innocents. "Clearer than Crystal clear" answered Caro and continued with polite and excusing nod "Excuse me, Sire, if my words made you reconsider my position at you. The statue of yours, I think, as high knight and law man. That gave the birth to fearful thought that serfs will be frightened to bone seeing you."
Then as nothing happened Caro turned to Geiss and spoke with a usual accent "So, Geiss, schall ve togezzer find vhere Marble Krest iss undt check it? and if the need, a transport?"

To find out where Marble Crest is, would need a successful Inquiry +20 Test.
To requisition a transport, Rodneys Vehycles is probably the best place to look for.

Query: do we count it as everyone having a grenade each with Annabelle having the Krak one?

Hox hated flying, nearly as much as void travel, it was an unnatural state and this latest escapade had only served to strengthen Hox's opinion of this mode of transport. But now to their immediate situation, they had many challenges to overcome.
"I'll take one of those flash-bang grenades Azararch. No charge for a valued colleague eh?" His mind more focused, now he was back on terra firma, Hox managed what was supposed to be a friendly smile, a frightening prospect for the uninitiated. "I'm going to ask around town and find out how far we are from Marble Crest and what the road is like. If any of you are good at haggling then come with me, we're going to need transport and probably someone to get us to the Crest." Hox heads towards the nearest likely taverns and watering holes, then to find the Vehicle depot and see what's on offer.
Inquiry, Known, +20 Fel 26 to discover distance to Marbles Crest, useful details about the settlement and the safety or otherwise of the road to it. Inquiry, Known, Fel 26 at Rodneys Vehicles to see what the options are.

"As fur schtun grenade, good zrower, I am nicht. Zough, a veb grenades posses, mein self." stated Caro. He considered himself not a front fighter, but rather something who fights with knowledge. However, this damned mission may require more violent approach. Luckily, he guessed this from the start and requisitioned himself an autogun with enough ammo to scare heretics the sweat out. Of course, his accuracy is far from any of those here, namely, Annabelle, Hox or Elias. Caro thought that beforehand. He guessed it right. A wide grin bedecked his face, but nobody could saw that. The rusty iron mask.
"Zough, I vould r-r-rtesignate precious gift uff trusted undt schtrong minded friend, Azararch Geiss, fur Macro Hox. More ofer, ze pleasure, vould be choiningkt Geiss undt Hox task group." Tried his best Caro. He wanted to befriend Geiss and a mysterious person Hox. Somehow, Caro was beginning to like him. Maybe, the principle of no questions asked? maybe.
Caro continued with his all knowing intonation "Suggestion, to make, I vould like. Each Son uff Keats schould haf a name or a kodename, so to speak. Spectre A, Spectre B, Spectre K undt Spectre D, employed kould be. As ,Sire Elias said, ze kofer must be made.". Caro hoped, that would please Knight Elias. He really did not want any confrontation with a law man. It would ruin his quest for knowledge.

Inquiry Fel26+20 --> rolled 67 --> 3 DoF Inquiry Fel26+20 --> rolled 59 --> 2 DoF You have no idea where Marble Crest could be. People also dont know much what vehicles are there currently, but as you walk there, you can see the sad parking lot with your own eyes: > an motorbike with a trailer, where up to 4 people could sit in (Influence Test +15) > a buggy in good shape (Influence Test +0) > an old rusty Jeep (Influence Test +30)
