It has been a long dark flight through the immaterium - a journey that you can still feel in your bones. You think you never gonna really get used to this, never completely get rid of this feeling of primal fear from something somewhere behind you, that you cannot see, but even more feel.
Some hours ago, the "Blessed Alliance" has left the Warp though, still being intact (thanks to using the Grand Processional warp route that leads from Juno to Vouxis Prime). So this will be the first place you visit in the name of your future master.
The Rogue Trader, named Rondall Quinn, who owns this venerable voidship, still was in debt to your future Inquisitor as it seems. He seems to be a keen man with a strange sense of morbid humor, yet has a fine sense of honour too. This - and he was going to Vouxis Prime anyway, as he says, looking for some of their sector-famous statues of stone, which they craft as no one else in the sector.
He hands you over the 2 suitcases as Jeroth the servo skull had promised you. One with the Tears of Kalys, the second one with...well...a bag-full of money. He will give you a landing craft that is going to bring you down to Port Davidius on Vouxis Prime - the only space port there. And the craft will wait for your return to bring you back on board, if you can make it within 1 week. He wont be able to wait any longer, for business reasons.
"Any more question before you leave into your >big adventure<", he asks you with a wicked smile, that could mean anything.

Throughout the void journey Hox kept himself to himself and stayed more or less in the quarters assigned to them, rarely venturing further than the galley. Before the group left Juno you noticed that Hox had acquired an Autogun, battered in appearance but clearly adequately serviced throughout its life, a bit like Hox himself. Meeting with the rest of the group, and the perpetually smug Rogue Trader, on the flight deck of the 'Blessed Alliance' Hox was quietly urging on the organised chaos surrounding the pre-flight blessings and appeasement of the crafts engine spirit. Secretly Hox couldn't wait to get off the damned voidship.
When the Rogue Trader spoke it was hardly a surprise, the fool couldn't keep his forked tongue behind his teeth, though no doubt every word that came out of his mouth was carefully crafted and considered to flatter and deceive in equal measure. Therefore he was loathed to ask too many questions of the man, however one did cross his mind "Do we have use of this craft during our time on the surface if necessary?"

"I am afraid, my dear friend, that I have clear instructions to leave you to your own business down there. Your >Master< was quite clear on this...for whatever reasons he might have."

Elias Reigner took time to know the man a little, without being invasive. Rogue Traders, as Chartered conquerors of unknown stars, always impressed him. Having the chance to meet one was something he wouldn't let go without some chat. He was polite with this Peer of the Imperium but never went farther than just discovering how a man of such stature is to his fellow imperial citizens.
"Thank you for your hospitality, may the God Emperor bless you and your sacred undertakings" Elias said. He made the Aquila to the free trader and waited for him to give him permission to leave. He would then go to his room, pack up his rare possessions, and be ready for the operation.

"Not sure if they are that sacred all the time. I thank you for your wishes though."
He looks at you a moment, after he while he continues:
"You know....some years ago, I met a man on a world beyond this sector. You remind me of him, he had the same spark in his eyes as you have. Take care down there."

Annabelle had dealt with Rogue traders on occasion. She had also "dealt" with at least one on one memorable occasion. It was an experience, she had to admit. Space travel. Annabelle had lived almost her entire life on Snope's World. She had expected to live her life there and to die there. She'd never thought she'd be travelling the system in a ship like this before. Annabelle wasn't particularly wise in the ways of the Void, but she did know that Rogue traders were often influential fellows, with powerful friends and contacts. It never hurt to make nice with them. She'd taken the time to at least try to get to know their host a little, throwing in a bit of her charms in on the voyage to Vouxis Prime.
But it seemed the time of their arrival was at hand. Annabelle was still rather indecisive about how to proceed, without sticking out like a sore thumb. She had sent out a requisition for a backpack so that she could carry her blasted chain sword and rifle about without looking like she was out to kill someone. Both blade and rifle had served her well, but they were not the most covert of gear for walking around in a crowd. Unfortunately, while she had managed to acquire a concealed holster for her auto-pistol, her requisitions for a basic backpack had gone unheard. And she was certainly against leaving her equipment behind on the Rogue Trader's ship. These were marks of her home. Annabelle had thought long and hard about how to go about this. She had slipped her autopistol beneath her dress easily enough, within the concealed holster. As for the others... well. Maybe she could lend them to her compatriots. Perhaps one of them could carry these weapons less conspicuously than she could with her current gear.
For now, Annabelle was forced to make do, wearing her chain sword on her hip, and her sniper rifle slung over her shoulder.
"It's been a pleasure, Lord Quinn~" She purred at the Rogue Trader. "I do hope we have the pleasure to travel together again."

"No need to call me >Lord<, my dear. Not many who dealt with me actually would.", he laughs roughly, checking out on you.
"I guess it is not within my sphere of influence if we meet again, and it might more depend on you and your actions down there. If I have a word to say in this though, we certainly will meet again, if you make it.", he says and smiles at you in a way that you cant really tell if he is serious or just playing with you.
"To increase your chances a little bit, I'd like to give you a little gift with my best wishes. After all, a girl must protect herself. Just dont tell your new Master."
He reaches for something at his belt and brings his hand back with a krak grenade in it, which he hands you over.

So, we're entirely on our own in this suicidal endeavour. Clearly our self imposed liege wants to test our resourcefulness and see how well we cope... what an utter bastard thought Hox.
Turning to his compatriots who he'd largely avoided during the journey Hox spoke, possibly for the first time to some of you since arriving on board "We need to get our story strait before we get planetside. They're expecting a Heretek and four bodyguards down there afterall." "I reckon Caro can pull off the Keats Heretek scumbag well enough, at a distance and by keeping his mouth shut..." Hox gives Caro a crooked toothy grin, not a pleasant sight. "But if we're going to bluff our way through this then I'd say Anna be his 'negotiator' for the deal." "I know some of you wanted to shoot up some of their rivals, well good luck with that cos' I ain't attracting attention for that."

Anna gave Quinn a charming smile. "Oh darling, you shouldn't have~" She teased softly as she accepted the Rogue Trader's gift. As Hox began to make plans, Anna studied the man anew. She hadn't interacted with him much since he'd admitted to be a Psyker. Psykers... that was a new one for Anna. She'd never met a Psyker before. She'd heard stories about them. Men who could twist the fabric of reality with their minds. A powerful ally, but a dangerous one. If nothing else, Anna looked forward to seeing the man in action.
"I have no problems serving as our negotiator, Hox dear." She told him. "If that's what you'd like me to do. But if that's what we're going to do, I might need someone to me a favor, and hold onto these for me." She commented, shifting her rifle for emphasis and tapping her chain sword on her hip. "I'm a tiny bit heavily armed for a diplomat, I'm afraid~ Even a diplomat from the Sons of Keats."

Elias shrugged.
"I can do your bodyguard. Protecting ladies was once part of my everyday life. Someone dealing in such artefacts would certainly afford bodyguard. I could very well carry your stuff on me and if you need it, it will be close to you enough for your use"
The arbitrator was honest, not trying to fool her or anything. He was there for succeding in the mission. "And I can be very persuasive in convincing people to just get the frag away"
He smiled. The smile of a man used to kill when words don't do their job well enough.

Mentioning that he has to go back to his duties, Rondall Quinn finally guides you to your lander, a small craft which has seen better days.
Seeing the looks on your face, he adds: "Ach, come on. Good ol' Daisy never let me down in all those years. Just treat her with respect and it'll be fine."
You enter the cabin, to be welcomed by a pilot-servitor sitting in the Pilot seat. It seems to be a modified Modell, that also already has its best years behind. The name >Larus< is printed in front of its Uniform.
"Welcome on board and ready to take offen. Please take your seats and hold your barf bags ready." he says with an amused tone, that certainly has been programmed like that.

Caro came back to docks with completely different look. Hooded robe was so black that even space blackness was light compared to. Rusty Metal Mask's chin only slightly protruded from the hood, but one could feel uncomfortable already from its gaze. However, his voice was quickly recognized by acolytes. During the journey through the Hell, Caro kept counting minutes and prayed to Omnisiah and machine spirit of "Blessed Alliance" that its Gellar field would withhold the onslaught of Warp.
He also inspected the artifact with his auspex to make sure if it was original one. (Do I need to roll here? If yes then Auspex, Int48, Trained Tech Use)
If it is original artifact, then Caro don't have any questions and only politely nods to thank the rogue trader.
"Flattered, I am, Hox. Moreofer, I am more zan happy mitt Annabelle's r-r-role as an negotiator. Her honeyed vorts komforts me from ze first gaze" Caro mysteriously smirked behind his mask. Ok, fellows, just allow me handle that artifact a little more longer. He thought.
Then Caro tried his all to put forward soothing words towards Annabelle. "To allefiate your dangerous killingkt looks, I meinself, kraft a veapon karrier fur you, offer, mein darlingkt "

Remark 1: the artefact you shall get From The traders should have the ultraviolet rays. You have no idea how to verify the Tears of Kalys
Remark 2: they dont await 4 bodyguards, but 4 persons joining Keats, whatever their functions are is up to your Cover story

To the remark 1: From servitors report "You can check if the artefact is the original, if you scan it with an auspex. It should send waves in the ultraviolet spectrum between 262 and 277.". Caro should know how to check that. no? To the remark 2: Ok, I checked. edited.

The artefact to be checked is not the Tears of Kalys, but the one you are to buy From The syndicate. You cannot verify the Tears as you know not what to check for.
