Returning empty handed was not Caro's plan. He should set at them administratum hounds for their neglect. Time. That was not in his favor. They must hurry. Lets hope fellow colleagues are good fighters. Caro wondered.
At some point Caro was happy. His idea about trade was getting an approval. "Glad to hear, Geiss I am " and then Caro glanced at Hox "Vorry nicht, mighty Ho Seig Heil! Initial trade vill be fulfilled. Ze brainchild uff mein head says zat ve kould make a new deal to buy Tears uff Kalys mitt money undt if nicht enough, additionally, mitt a some kind uff debt.". and with a thoughtful voice muttered Caro "Though, if that won't work, calculated our options and if able remove them from existence and leave no witness. We could tell them that their agents never showed up. If our options would be too low, then we would to get out with what we have as soon as possible. Anyway, we should hide anything we have until the proof that they have the real artifact." The last thought was the most taxing for his mind. Everything was getting troubled here. Almost crashed. Hard to get transport. No support. This is the worst, so far. So Far...
Then looked around to see if everybody was here and asked just to be sure "Are ve all set up undt r-r-ready? If cha, zen lock undt r-r-roll!".

Annabelle glanced at Elias, and followed his eyes to the security. "It could be a problem, yes..." She began. She pursed her lips then. "Security officers here though. Armed, and disciplined. It's a shame my expertise is not in law enforcament, Elias. They'd make as fine an aid as any Hive dredgery~" Though at Elias's suggestion she turned to begin a path back to the meeting point. Still not entirely giving up, however.

He began to follow Anna slowly. If they still followed them, he would slow the pace down to get an occasion to speak with them in a intimate place. His hand stayed away from his maul, knowing that to look like a dangerous man in such a situation could get him peppered with shots he didn't want to get.

Annabelle frowned. "That's a shame. Well. I suppose we'll just have to improvise weren't we?" As they returned to the group, Annabelle flashed them one of her smiles, though this one was tinted with regret. "It seems there are fewer trigger-happy bravados in here than we had hoped." She informed them. "But it's good to see you. How have you all fared?" She asked, wondering if they had found anything of use themselves.

Surely Caro did not anticipated Hox's refusal. Explanation drew some unforeseen limitations on Hox profile. Looks can be deceiving. The lesson which most fail and Caro was not an exception this time. Considering he has a barrel hanging under his clothing, lets hope he is at least a good gunner. This worried Caro. Judging by birth, Elias, could be also the steed rider only. Is Annabelle only hope? It better be a success or everything will be going south.
However, seeing Annabelle and Elias empty handed made Caro's worries aggravated. Is all of us will be enough? Only future will answer that. With a sad voice, Caro added "Ze kriminals on zis r-r-rock schapers vorld are r-r-rare or efen an impossible zingkt to r-r-root out. Zough, bureaucrats are easily deceifed. Ze dement fur medics iss high. Ze map undt a transport, I got. Fixed it, I undt Geiss haf. Establisched perfect r-r-route, Hox haf." Hopefully ender Caro "Hope, dear Annabelle, can drife?".

So far it was good, but the one more refusal just worsened the situation. It was a disgrace to admit he is poor Driver. Though, Caro won't allow anybody know that for now. "Drive my Old Betty Jeep, I will then. A happy Machine Spirit we have now. Hop on. No time to waste. " just swiftly stated Caro. He applied the Rite of Activation and turned the roaring Old Betty for journey, while Hox navigated. Caro wished luck. If not maybe blessed burnt cable will help again? Omnisiah, protects.

Hox is impatiently hauling his gear on the back of their dilapidated transport as Elias and Annabelle return empty handed. He'd had his suspicions about this place and suspected that finding any sort of mercenaries amongst the cargo loaders, dregs and peasants here would be difficult, but still Hox struggled not to display his displeasure as a fleeting scowling crossed his features. He looked off behind the pair to see if they were being followed at all.
Awareness, Known, Per 36 to see if they're being tailed or watched before they leave
Hox climbed on board and swung up his autogun to rest in a defensive position behind Caro where he could give clear directions.

Through the journey, Caro surveys the surrounding areas. What xeno war was there? Only dust wastes around. No wonder, everybody just went underground. He thought he could scrutinize the artifact while traveling, but now, he need to drive. That was sad, but nobody could saw his face. Only rusty metal mask.

The journey to Marble Crest takes nearly all the time you have left. The small settlement seems to be far from any hive on Vouxis Prime.
Now and then, you can see strange constructs that look like primitive totems of a sort - otherwise the journey is without major incidents.
Finally you arrive at nightfall just in time. The settlement might not even have more than 100 inhabitants as far as you can see.
At this time, not many people are still on the streets. A dreg with a helmet that looks like a skull grills sausages on a rusty barbecue grill. And you can still hear some music coming from a tavern called "Worlds End".
